Adam has been employed within the community services sector in Southern Tasmania in various roles for the past 30 years, including childcare, management of community disability organisations, quality management and for the past 2 years NDIS support co-ordination. Adam has passion for providing quality support services for all clients whilst allowing clients to have choice, control and input into all aspects of their NDIS plan. When he is not working, he is watching and talking about his beloved football team Collingwood!

Steve

Steve has been employed in various roles within the disability industry for many years.  Steve is client focused and able to advocate for his participants to ensure their needs and goals are met.  Steve believes in communicating with each participant on a regular basis to build strong professional relationships.  Steve has a strong community focus and connections within South-East Tasmania. When Steve is not working, he enjoys a round of golf or participating in local musical products. 


Casey

Casey has been employed within the disability industry for the past 8 years.  She has been the client manager of a medium sized disability organisation within Hobart. From this role, Casey has a strong positive reputation for herself within the disability industry in Hobart.  This ensures she is able to provide and source suitable solutions for all participants. Casey enjoys the complexity of working within the NDIS framework and guidelines to achieve a participant's goals.  Casey enjoys working with family members and the community to support participants.

Lenka

Lenka has many year's experience providing individual support to disability clients in the community.  From this she has developed strong communication skills and enjoys ensuring participants receive quality support. Lenka will go above and beyond what is expected to provide the support required for each individual. 

In her spare time Lenka enjoys going to the gym and spending time with her animals.

Melanie has been employed in various community services roles over the past 30 years of employment including childcare (centre director for 5 year) aged care and as a medical receptionist and enrolled nurse.  Over the past 18 months, Mel has transitioned to fulltime employment within FCTas.  Mel has support co-ordination clients and works as an enrolled nurse within the disability community, completing NDIS nursing care plans.  When Mel is not working, she can be found at home enjoying time with her family including 3 dogs and 3 cats and foster kittens.

Emma

Emma commenced employment as a NDIS support coordinator mid 2023.  She has many years' experience as a registered nurse.  In her role as a support coordinator, she draws upon her experience as a GP practice nurse.  Emma enjoys a challenge and working with external organisations to achieve client's goals.   Emma is able to engage others to reach desired outcomes for clients. When she is not working, Emma enjoys spending time with her family and relaxing on at her family shack.

Kylie

Kylie is new to the support coordination role in 2024 but has found her feet and hit the ground running!  Kylie has a working knowledge of support work and local disability organisations.  Kylie has previously worked in the finance industry which ensures she is extremely organized and efficient.  This ensures each participant's NDIS plan is managed effectively and goals are met. Kylie enjoys going to the gym and spending time with her family.

Mirjam

Mirjam has many year's experience working within the disability industry in Tasmania.  She has worked in various roles with different organization's which allows her to have an understanding of the disability community and services available to participants. Mirjam specializing in working within the local Huon Valley community.


Heather

Heather brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to FCTas. Heather has a Bachelor of Social Work, and a Master of Business Management in Health from UTas. Heather has had over 15 years of experience in government and non-government mental health, housing services and program development roles in Tasmania and NSW. Heather believes in working with clients in an open and honest manner, by working alongside clients to help build opportunities to live life to the fullest. Providing experience and knowledge to each client to get the most out of their NDIS plan. When Heather is not working, she enjoys baking lots of cakes and biscuits for her family, drinking too much coffee and walking her dog!

Clare

Clare is an enthusiastic support coordinator who enjoys working with individuals to ensure their needs are met.  Clare has worked her way from individual support worker within the disability industry to now providing quality support coordination.  This transition allows her to have an understanding of the disability industry in Hobart. Clare prides herself on ensuring she is efficient in all areas of her work but will always take time to listen to each participant.  When Clare is not working, she enjoys a gym workout or a run with friends or walking her puppy. 

Taco

Taco works part time as a NDIS support coordinator.  He has had various employment opportunities and draws on his life experience to ensure he provides quality services to all participants.

In his spare time, Taco is studying to become a paramedic and enjoys the outdoors with his family.

Our support co-ordinations work with you and your community to achieve your goals. To do this we have strong links within the community to connect you with the appropriate support whether it be allied health needs, accommodation or support staff.
